Senator Malloy has a strong record creating public policy that supports job creation and economic development. He also had a leadership role in planning for a safe reopening during the Pandemic. Most recently, he helped support economic development and job growth by helping get the needed dollars to complete the new terminal at the Hartsville Regional Airport.
EDUCATION & JOB TRAINING
Education is the key to building a brighter future for our youth and community. Senator Malloy is working to give access to a quality education for ALL children, including increased funding for schools, technical colleges, and the Governor’s School for Science & Mathematics in Hartsville.
PUBLIC SAFETY
BODY CAMERAS FOR ALL POLICE!
We cannot let the unlawful actions of some police officers effect our support of all public safety officials. The majority of them are working hard to protect us and our community and deserve our support. To help both our residents and the police force, Senator Malloy led the charge to get body cameras to public safety officials throughout the State.
ROADS & RECREATION
Senator Malloy is a strong voice representing us in Columbia. He fights to get funding for our local roads and important community organizations, like Byerly Park, Butler Heritage Foundation, Hartsville Center Theater and Coker College. He also has spent his personal time volunteering to coach youth sports for the past 30 years.
